Based off of the Last Exile series, volume 1 was published in September of 2003. Spanning two volumes in all, it at times differs greatly from the anime series.


The Battle of Otranto - The Encounter of Two Men: Alex and Vincent
Taking place prior to the Last Exile series, this novel was released along with the Last Exile Chronicle artbook included with the first series Blu-Ray release in September of 2011.

Friends: The Blank Principal
A novel that takes place between Last Exile and Fam, The Silver Wing. It was published in March of 2013 as part of the Fam Aerial Log artbook.
